There’s a peace in my heart, that the world never gave. It’s a peace it can not take away. Though the trials of life, may surround like a cloud, There is a peace that has come here to stay. For God my father set me free, I’m changed by the Christ in me. No longer to walk this road alone.
And I’m not ordinary anymore, not ordinary like before. Spirit filled, it’s Christ in me, I’m not ordinary. I’m not ordinary anymore, not ordinary like before. Spirit filled, it’s Christ in me, I’m not ordinary. And I am constantly abiding, Christ Jesus is mine. I am constantly abiding, Christ Jesus is mine. I am constantly abiding, glory divine, glory divine.
Now the world seemed to sing, of a savoir and lord. When peace sweetly came to my heart. My troubles all fled away, and my night turned to day. Blessed Jesus how glorious thou art. And I’m filled with power from above. I’m walking in God’s light and love. I freely give, for freely I receive.
Chorus
God has no feet but our feet. God has no hands but our hands. He has no voice but our voice, to spread His Word of Life. We’re seated in the heavenlies, walking in His grace and peace. We’re shining lights, ambassadors for Christ.
Chorus
The Lord spoke to Noah a long time ago. He said gather the animals, build me a boat. For the rain’s gonna fall, cover all of this land. But you’ll be delivered by My mighty hand…and he was. Now, the world hasn’t changed, there still will be rain. But our God will deliver us again and again. So return unto Him , He’ll return unto you. There is nothing that He will not do.
God is still God. He still reigns on high. Look only to Him, your needs he’ll supply. His grace is unending, His shoulders are broad. Cast all your cares on Him now, for God is still God.
Now, we are God’s children with spiritual seed. Eternal salvation to those who believe. He is willing and able, faithful and just. We don’t look to the world, for it’s God that we trust…yes we do. Now God is and He was, and He always will be. And He stands for His people who dare to believe. There is nothing to big, nothing to small, for our God. He created it all.
Chorus
God is still God, He placed all the stars up above. And He changed all our lives with his love. He knows every name, every hair on our head. And He hears every prayer when we lie down to bed. And He sent Jesus Christ as a payment for all. Let the sick be made whole, and the lame one stand tall. Let the searcher be found, and the troubled find peace. Let His children come boldly to His throne with their need. For His love is unending, His shoulders are broad. You can cast all your cares on Him now, for God is still God.
Let me tell you a story, how the Children of Israel were saved. By the power of God, through the sea and the desert they came. Till they stood at the land Moses told them about. They sent twelve men in, just to check it all out. When Caleb returned, he reported there wasn’t a doubt.
He said I wanna live in that place where God’s abundance abounds, That place can be here, that place can be now. When we walk in God’s light, it makes a glorious sound. "I won’t settle for just one taste, I wanna live in that place". I wanna live in that place, live in that place.
When God poured out His Spirit on man, in Acts chapter two. Peter preached to the people, and the brethren said "what do we do?". "Just repent and be saved, every woman and man". And they continued in fellowship, and breaking of bread. They had all things in common, and the Lord added daily, Amen. I want to make a decision to live every minute like Christ, and walk in his ways. I wanna see signs and wonders, healings and miracles, happening every day. I want to end each and every night, knowing I’ve done my best. In my service to God and His Word, for in Him I am blessed. I want to hang with my brothers and sisters in Christ. Where it’s all about God, not envy and strife. One minded in purpose, enjoying our eternal life.
Well, my father said to speak his Word, and I sowed the seed on rocky ground. Even though I nourished it and cared, it never made a sound. So I went unto my father and I asked him "tell me why I failed". He answered in a gentle voice and said,
Go into this world, and spread my Word of Life, I will give the increase everyday. When you put me first, your work is not in vain. Just spread my Word of Life along the way.
I sowed the seed and as they fell the foul of the air came and plucked them away. Some it fell among the thorns that choked it from the light of the day. So I went unto my father and I asked him ‘tell me why I failed”. He answered in a gentle voice again.
Chorus
And it’s not the one who waters. And it’s not the one who sows. But our God who gives the increase, He’s the one that makes it grow. And we love to tell the story, and we live to tell the story. People need to hear the story. So we water, and we sow. When I sowed the seed on better ground, it brought forth fruit a hundred fold. From this fruit and orchard grew, and it’s growing all around the world. And I recalled the words my father said to me when I thought that I had failed. Now I gently say these words to you.
Chorus
I once walked in the shadow of darkness. Now I stand in the light of the Lord. I have put on the armor of God’s mighty Word. His truth is my shield and my sword. I am ready. For our adversary still walks among us. Seeking only to steal and destroy. And I still have a choice, either run or to fight. When I’m hearing those old lions roar. But I am ready…I am ready.
Yes I’m ready to live and I’m ready to love. I’m ready to chase the lions. Energized by God’s spirit, I’m fearless and bold. And I’m ready to chase the lions. I am ready…I am ready.
For greater is he that is living in me. I’m speaking God’s Word without fear. And He gets the glory when I tell the story. To those who are longing to hear. There’s a world that is longing to hear. I am ready…I am ready. I don’t look to the left, I don’t look to the right. My confidence lies in my Lord. If God be for us, who can be against us. No one…No one. So don’t hide your light from a world that’s in need. Pray for boldness, the Lord will provide. When the lions appear, grab’em right by the beard. And tell em, it’s their turn to hide.
Chorus
Are you ready to live, are you ready to love, Are you ready to glorify God up above? Are you ready to serve, are you ready to give, Are you ready to stand, are you ready to live? Are you ready? Are you ready to chase the lions? Let’s chase the lions. Chase the lions.
God is my refuge, when I’m weary. He comforts my heart. In Him is my glory and salvation. He’s the rock of my strength. And I’ll never stray away, for God is with me day by day.
Only He is my rock, and my salvation. He is my defense, I shall not be moved. Oh my rock, and my salvation. He is my defense, I shall not be moved.
We put on the armor, that God gives us. To stand as His sons. Competing with boldness, for we know that, The victory’s been won. Protected by His loving hand, that in the evil day we’ll stand.
Chorus
Hold fast to God’s Word now. For to know Him, we must know His heart. That we may be perfect, throughly furnished. Completely complete. As workmen now we stand approved, and with God’s strength. We shall not be moved.
My God and I. We are so close. My God and I. We are so close. My God and I, My God and I, My God and I…we are so close. My God supplies. My every need. My God supplies. My every need. My God supplies, my God supplies, my God supplies…my every need. And my God has cows. On a thousand hills. My God has cows. On a thousand hills. My God has cows, my God has cows, my God has cows….on a thousand hills. Moo Moo Moo Moo, Moo Moo Moo Moo, Moo Moo Moo Moo, Moo Moo Moo Moo. My God has cows, my God has cows, my God has cows….on a thousand hills. My God and I. We are so close. My God and I. We are so close. My God and I, My God and I, My God and I…we are so close.
With Christ in me, that’s the way it’s always gonna be. With God in Christ in you, there ain’t nothing you can’t do.
With Christ in me, my life’s a symbol, for everyone to see how I live with Him in me and you we’re able, to live a life more abundantly.
Chorus
With Christ in me, I’m a walking billboard, teaching others how they can live with Him in me and you we’re walking, in the spirit, gonna live eternally.
Chorus
With Christ in me, I’m a light that shineth, a flame that’s growing, a bird that’s on the wing, with Him in me and you we’re more than conquerors in everything.
Chorus
Praise His name, Praise His name. The creator of the Heavens and thee earth. Elohim, El Shaddai, praise His name, praise His name. For God’s peace, and His love. For the blessings pouring out from up above. For God’s mercy, and His grace. Praise His name, praise His name. Come praise Him, come praise Him. Almighty God and father. His mercy, endureth, His love will last forever. Come praise Him, come praise Him, come praise His name…praise His name. For the hope of Christ’s return. When we’re gathered up together with the Lord. For that day, face to face. Praise His name, praise His name. Praise His name, Praise His name. The creator of the Heavens and thee earth. Elohim, El Shaddai, praise His name, praise His name.
People say that I have his eyes. Others say that I have his smile. I don’t know, but I’ve been told. I’m a lot like my father. God devised salvations plan. We believe and we’re born again. Not by works, but by grace alone. That’s the love of our father. And as you walk with God, He’ll speak to you. Old things pass away, all things are new. Hiding in our hearts His word so true. That’s the will of our father. God so loved that He gave His son. Christ so loved, now the victory’s won. That every woman and man can come. Into the family of our father. People say that I have God’s peace. The Bible says that I can share His love. I only know the more I walk with Him. The more that I am like my father. The more I walk with Him, and talk with Him. The more that I am like my father.
When day is done, and night has fallen. I lay my head to rest. I speak with God, in perfect prayer. And I am truly blessed. My weariness is washed away, God’s peace it floods my mind. For thy Word I’ve hidden in my heart. It’s there before my eyes. Refresh my spirit and my soul. And to thy child impart. Thy healing hand, and loving grace. Upon my weary heart. Refresh, Refresh. Watch ore my friends and family. With needs I know not of. And in the hollow of thy hand. Embrace them with your love. And grant thy servant strength renewed, to face the dawning day. To boldly speak your Words of life. And glorify thy name. Refresh my spirit and my soul. And to thy child impart. Thy healing hand, and loving grace. Upon my thankful heart. Refresh, Refresh.
When fear and doubt surround you, and the walls are closing in. And you’re looking for direction, you’re looking for a friend. You’ve been reaching out to others, and no one’s reaching back. And the adversary’s hitting you, in the places that you lack. God hears, the whisper in the storm. God hears, the cry out in the night. And He’s near, closer than your breath. When you need someone to tell your troubles to, God hears. God , loved you so much, that He sent His only son. Who suffered, died, and rose again, that your life could be won. And no matter what you’ve done, and no matter where you’ve been, His grace will make you whole, and He’ll wash away your sin. For God loves, in Him there is no darkness. God loves, only mercy grace and kindness. And He sees, and he knows your very heart. There’s nothing that can tear you apart, from God’s love. God He knows our frame, we stumble and we fall. But Jesus paid the price in full, he paid the price for us all. So knock and God will answer, seek and you will find. That His promises are sure, and we’re precious in His sight. All your cares, and all your burdens. Every sickness and disease, are subject to the Truth, and the Truth will make you free. When God heals, He’s willing and He’s able. God heals, in the name of Jesus Christ. Just believe, He’s faithful who has promised. Cast all your cares on Him, He cares for you. And God hears, the whisper in the storm, God loves, in Him there is no darkness. And He heals...God heals.
I’ve never seen the blood upon the lintel. I’ve never seen the parting of the seas, nor have I tasted manna come from heaven, and so you ask me how can I believe? When I’ve never seen the baby in the manger, nor have I heard the angel hosts proclaim of the coming of our Lord and savior, still I pray in Jesus’ holy name.
For I have heard the tongues of men and angels. I have felt the warmth of God’s embrace. My lips have tasted of the living waters and I’ve been filled with the fullness of his grace. So I believe. Yes I believe. I do believe.
I wasn’t there when Jesus walked upon the water, or raised the dead, or caused the blind to see. I only know, he said “the works that I do, you shall do also, Yet greater works than these“.
Chorus
I’ve never faced the trials or the torture. I’ve never felt the rod upon my back. But for my life, Christ paid the price completely. The victory’s won, and there’s nothing that I lack.
Chorus
Dawn’s breakin, I’m wakin’. Roll up the shade and It’s rainin’. No sun, just clouds a-rollin in. But I know my lord hears me. I know what he thinks of me. He says I’m beautiful, yes I am beautiful.
The world says that I’m unworthy, but I don’t care. When I look into the mirror I see what God has made me, and I find I behold the glory of the Lord. I am his son, his precious one. I’m lifted up on waves of grace. Seated with Christ, in a lovely place. I am God’s masterpiece, I’m seated in the heavenlies. So, behold the glory of the Lord.
The world is dark, I’m shinin’. The world is sad, but I am joyful. I am a child of the light. I’m righteous, justified, redeemed and sanctified. I’m throughly furnished, I’m throughly furnished.
Chorus
The world says that we’re unworthy, but what do they know. One day when Christ returns, we’ll join him up on high and then we’ll behold the glory of the Lord. We are his sons, his chosen ones. We’re lifted up on waves of grace, seated with Christ, in a lovely place. We are God’s masterpiece, we’re seated in the heavenlies. So, Behold the glory of the Lord...
When I was searching, God took me in. When I was weary, he gave me peace. Alone in the night, with darkness all around me, he gave me refuge beneath his sheltering wing.
With so much more, than I could ever ask or think of, so much more, that I’ll never need repay. Like an open door, where a soul is always welcome. He’s given me his mercy, love and grace, and so much more.
When I was unworthy, God made me worthy. When I was blind, He made me see. When I was bound, oh by sin and heartache, He broke the chains to set me free. He set me free, with so much more
Chorus
Wherever you walk, God’s there beside you. Whenever you’re lost, He’s closer than your breath. God is the light, and in him there is no darkness. Walk in his love, and he will give you rest. He’ll give you rest.
Chorus
It’s been years since I traveled, the road of the weary, Searching for somewhere I could finally call home, Reaching in darkness, and coming up empty, Till one day I listened, to the still small voice calling,
He said, come, come, come into the family of God, Its your calling, and he’s calling you home, Come, come, you know that it’s there that you belong, In his family, in God’s family, so come. It’s there I find comfort, it’s there I’m made strong, And there’s no one left wanting, and you know you belong.
To the young man who’s searching for a standard to live by. To the woman who longs for that peace from within, It’s there in the family, the mystery in action. Just get quiet, listen closely, you can hear his voice calling
Chorus
There’s a storm a coming and it’s drawing near, I can hear the thunder, see the lightening, but I will not fear. For my God has promised, in this Word that I love. He will never forsake me. He’ll always be with me. My God is all power, all light, and all love.
And I’m rooted, grounded and planted deep. In the fertile soil of God’s Word and I keep my eyes looking up to God’s glorious light, as he rains down all spiritual blessings on my life. Let it rain, let it rain.
There’s a new beginning, with each dawning day, for our God is rich, in grace and mercy, and he does not change. There is no situation, where we cannot prevail, when we put on the armor that God has provided, and walk in his love, we never will fail.
Chorus
Well it’s time that we sink our roots in God’s word. Put it on in our hearts and in our minds. Only then can we stand in the face of the storm, when the sun breaks through, we will shine. On that day of promise. When the trumpet blows. We’ll be gathered together with Christ our savior, and we’re all going home. For our God has promised, in this Word that we love. He will never forsake us. He’ll always be with us. So walk in his power, his light and his love
Chorus
Behold the man, the Son of God, he hangs upon a tree. He’s bruised and battered, betrayed and tattered, all for his love for you and me. Behold the grave, where he was laid, three days and nights to be, but God has raised him, death could not hold him, roll the stone away. No more death or pain, roll the stone away, for the promise made is complete. For God has raised him, death could not hold him, roll the stone away.
Behold the love, the father had, that we are made his sons, no longer strangers, we’re more than conquerors, roll the stone away. For the price is paid, roll the stone away, by God’s perfect grace, we are made free. No longer strangers, we’re sons and daughters, so roll the stone away.
I will not run. I will not hide. For God is right here by my side. He set me free, I’m free indeed, and now it’s God in Christ in me.
Behold this man, once dead in sin, but by God’s grace, I live again. For God has saved me, death cannot hold me, Roll the stone away. For God has saved me, death cannot hold me, Roll the stone away...
Ain’t life great, what a way to be, it’s God in Christ, and it’s Christ in me. Ain’t life great, oh we’ll have a ball, It’s all for one, and it’s one for all. Ain’t life great, ain’t it great, ain’t life great.
Well I wake up in the morning and I look into the sky, and the sun is always shining and I know the reason why, I’m a son of God and the Bible tells me so.
Chorus
Well I grab the morning paper and I read the daily blues, there’s always someone crying and it’s always bad news, They want to raise the taxes, the people just won’t pay, no, but I got a better book to read, it’s called the Word of God, it tells me I got power and it tells me I’m his son, The world is going crazy, and all I got to say is
Chorus
There’s a lot of people out there, And they’re searching for the truth, they need someone for to teach them, they need someone just like you. You know the world is getting darker, and we can lead them to the light. Till they make the word their own, until they know that they know that they know that it’s right.
Chorus
Lean on God, children, lean on God, children, lean on God, children everyday, When your burden’s heavy, and you don’t know where to turn, The Lord is near, lean on God
Pray children, oh pray children, Oh pray children everyday. When your needing answers, and you don’t know where to turn. The Lord will hear, children, when you pray.
Walk in love children, walk in love children, walk in love children everyday. When you’re looking for a path that will never ever fail, walk like Christ, children, walk in love.
Read God’s Word children, read God’s Word children, read God’s Word children everyday. When you’re seeking wisdom, and you don’t know where to look. It’s all right here in the book, when you read God’s word.
She wakes me in the morning, a smile is in her eyes, she brings me hugs and kisses and snuggles at my side, and sometimes I get to thinking, how great her world will be, because she knows God loves her. She knows it’s Christ in her and Christ in me.
And I know she’s God’s girl too, and I know there ain’t nothin He won’t do, cuz I can’t always be near, but I never never fear, cuz I know my girl is God’s girl too.
Daddy, oh my daddy, can you tell me why it’s true? Why the birds fly south in winter, and the skies are oh so blue? And I don’t have all the answers, but she doesn’t seem to care. It’s a trust we share between us, she knows I’m always there when she needs a friend.
Chorus
And she looks to me for guidance, she looks to me for love, as I receive them from his matchless word, my Father up above. And the trust she shares with me now, is the same she’ll give to Him, and I’ll ever need to worry, cuz with Christ in her, I know she can always win.
Chorus
One day I got to thinking about the man that I would be, so I took a look into my heart and found there was a missing part, that left a void in me. So I started out to searching for that thing to make me whole, didn’t know just what I’d find, so I kept on moving, running blind, never stopped to heed God’s call.
But it wasn’t in the wind, and it wasn’t in the rain, didn’t find it in the heat of fire, when the world began to quake. But the still small voice was calling. It kept calling, it was calling me home.
So I set my mind to seek and search the wisdom of this world. Sought my comfort in my riches and the banners I unfurled, to the glory of my name, my own name. But when I looked at all my works and all the labor I had done, behold all was vanity, and vexation of spirit, with no profit under the sun.
Chorus
And our God who’s rich in mercy, and our God who’s rich in grace. He’s called us to his glory and prepared for us a place. So don’t set your eyes on worldly things, just look to God above. There’s nothing that compares with wonder of God’s love. • So many men are measured by the deeds that they have done, but the Father teaches in his Word, that the humble heart is seldom heard, by beating his own drum. So what’s the whole conclusion to this matter and this plan, to serve the one true God, well that’s the duty of all man. The duty of every woman and man.
Chorus
I’ve never seen the blood upon the lintel. I’ve never seen the parting of the seas, nor have I tasted manna come from heaven, and so you ask me how can I believe? When I’ve never seen the baby in the manger, nor have I heard the angel hosts proclaim of the coming of our Lord and savior, still I pray in Jesus’ holy name.

Chorus
I’ve never faced the trials or the torture. I’ve never felt the rod upon my back. But for my life, Christ paid the price completely. The victory’s won, and there’s nothing that I lack.
Chorus
